A generational ministry to help Americans find their way back to meaning and purpose.
We believe that life is filled with meaning and purpose. Each life is designed with specific function and goals. Without understanding the purpose of life, people are constantly unsatisfied. This can be observed on a personal level and also a generational level. It is our desire to help lift generations out of their need and empower them the build up those around them for generations to come.
Unfortunately over 75% of those incarcerated come from families that don’t have strong, loving parents. To provide generational change, our prayer is to equip families with emotional, spiritual and economic tools to be the nuclear family that can establish men and women of purpose, goals and meaning.
Since 1946 when the government started taking over concerns for the “at risk” children, we have seen a steady decline in the fabric of our culture. Not that this action was wrong in part, but we all know the government has difficulty in carrying out detailed tasks and caring for children from infancy to adulthood needs to be meet in the hard hitting day to day life of those doing the care.
There needs to be more than just throwing money at a problem.
It is our desire to provide the nurture of a nuclear family that they may be lovingly cared for with unconditional love. That love arises from the truth that they are valuable
Without intrinsic value of life, children feel like they are left on a sea without direction, meaning and purpose.
Our goal is a true labor of love. It is not an easy chore to raise an innocent infant from the day they are born through the difficult toddler years and into the teenage years when they fight for their own independence.
In our culture not many marriages last the time needed to launch a child’s life into adulthood. This is a serious commitment and we want to support foster families with the same seriousness and determination that it takes to accomplish the work.
